5 gold coins and 56 thousand euros were seized in Berat

5 gold coins and 56,650 euros were seized by the police this Sunday in Berat.

A metal detector, 1 shotgun and ammunition were also seized.

For them, the 31-year-old man with the initials DV, 31 years old, was arrested and his father, the 56-year-old with the initials BV, both residents of the village of Kutalli, was released.

It is suspected that this wealth derives from illegal activity. The gun and cartridges were found in the 56-year-old's apartment and turned out to be illegal.

Meanwhile, the procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Berat General Jurisdiction, for further actions, for the criminal offenses "Cleaning the products of a criminal offense or criminal activity" and "Unauthorized production and possession of hunting weapons and sports"./ CNA
