Volodymyr Zelensky has reacted after Ukraine today formally received the status of candidate country for membership in the European Union.
In a Twitter post, the Ukrainian leader thanked EU leaders for granting Ukraine candidate status today.
This step for Zelensky is historic and unique for Ukraine-EU relations. The Ukrainian President thanked the President of the Council of Europe Charles Michel, and the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, as well as other EU leaders for their support./ ET-CNA.al
