Suspect arrested in triple murder in Podgorica

Police in Podgorica have arrested the main suspect in the triple murder that shocked the city, Vehad Muri? (25 years old), from Rozaja.

According to the official announcement, the arrest was made after a large-scale police operation conducted in the north and center of the country.

The young man was located and handcuffed in an open area in the center of Rozhaja, after a series of operational and tactical actions by security structures.

Muri? is suspected of having murdered three people with a cold weapon the night before, in the Stari Aerodrom neighborhood of Podgorica: brothers Denis Hot and Nezrin Hot, as well as Kenan Miraljemovi?, a Serbian citizen from Novi Pazar.

Authorities announce that he is facing charges of "aggravated murder", and it is expected that he will be sent to the High State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, along with the criminal report.

The police emphasize that at this stage of the investigation, sufficient evidence has been collected to identify Muri? as the direct perpetrator of the crime, while investigations continue to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident./ CNA
