Taxes sound the alarm/ Unauthorized individuals are defrauding businesses

The Tax Administration has given the alarm that certain individuals are deceiving businesses by presenting themselves as tax employees, although they have nothing to do with Taxes.

"The Administration clarifies the taxpayers and the public opinion that the employees of the Tax Administration exercise their functional duties, in implementation of the tax legislation in force, being identified in subjects with the elements as follows:

– Identification badge (First name/Surname/Photo/Job position/Directory name)

- The work order signed by the head of the relevant Directorate

– Distinctive uniforms with the inscription: Tax Administration.

The Tax Administration calls on all taxpayers to be careful if they are faced with suspicious persons who do not have the elements as above, not to allow them to enter the business premises and to report immediately to the communication channels of the Tax Administration:
