This Sunday, December 17, 2023, the "Korça Open Air 2023" competition was organized.

More than 40 participants took part in this competition.

In the precision free flight competition, Jonathan Islami took the first prize. Ardall Celina received the first prize for the long distance flight, while Besmire Geci managed to win the first prize for the women's category.

The head of the Aeronautical Federation, Alket Islami, says that this is the 10th year in a row in the city of Korça where, thanks to the relief, the two disciplines crosscout and precision are also developed in the Morava Mountain and Maliqi hills.

Korça is worthy to hold international competitions of the European and world level. The participants in this competition were mostly from the Balkans, such as Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Romania.

The head of the Aeronautical Federation, Alket Islami, says that the race was hot.

"Like all pilots in Albania but on the edge of Europe, Korça is one of the best places for cheap flights for fun, with fantastic relief and good weather conditions. We return this year to Korça with the final of the Albanian championship, Albania - Kosovo, which is also an international competition that welcomes pilots from Europe and the world.
