The deputy of the Parliament of Albania, Olta Xhaçka, went to meetings after the order of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Accompanied by the Mayor of Pogradec, Ilir Xhakolli, she visited a workshop for the production of church icons in this city, which has been operating there for two years.

Erald Mullai, the head of this workshop, has been involved in the production of Albanian icons for more than 10 years, for more than 8 years he practiced it in Romania and then decided that after 26 years in emigration he would return to his homeland by opening the workshop in Pogradec . Today, this is the only workshop in our country that is patented for this production, which is exported throughout Romania.

Eraldi is quite satisfied with the business climate he has found in Pogradec, he says that every month more than 200 thousand church icons are transported to Romania, while recently he is working to export to the Greek state as well.
