"SPAK's wave of work begins, arrests expected"/ Karamuço:

Criminalistics expert Ervin Karamuço spoke this Monday regarding two important developments, the election of the new head of the National Bureau of Investigation and the new developments expected this early September from the Special Prosecution Office.

Invited to a television studio, Karamuço said that the final phase of the process for the new head of the BKH has already begun and that the new candidate could also be proposed by the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani.

"I know that the final phase of the asset verification for the candidates for BKH has begun. After all, the institutions will also bring their verifications. Now bank receipts will be collected, evidence for everything will be brought.

Maybe because the new leader can be proposed by the SPAK leader. This could also be a game. A BKH with a vacant leader has no effect. There are certain groups near SPAK for certain investigations.

"You can work quite well even with commanding leaders," said Karamuço.

Regarding the work of SPAK, Karamuço emphasized the achievements of this structure and the establishment of a very high standard, while adding that new developments are expected from other prosecutors' offices.

"Every time SPAK is mentioned, arrests are expected. This is a normal thing to do, as it was the August period."

They will gather, analyze. They have the documents. The work and the big wave begins in September. Let's see if the wave will be with arrests. The rhythm will be the same.

I don't see it just in black and white. There will be other developments from the prosecution offices as well. The bar and the standard have been raised.

"They have an extraordinary volume of files, but there are also priority files that will give effect very quickly. SPAK is unified in the procedures it follows," said Karamuço. /CNA
