Strakosha regains form, excellent start to the new season

Thomas Strakosha has become one of AEK's most important players this season.

The Albanian goalkeeper has kept six clean sheets in nine matches, and including Albania's match with Latvia, the number goes up to seven.

After a difficult season last year, he has shown significant improvement in form and statistics. In the match against Levadiakos he stood out with a crucial save, while the peak of his performance was against Anderlecht where he recorded 10 saves.

The figures show an average of 3.28 shots expected per game, with 2.84 correct tackles. He has also significantly increased his long pass accuracy, from 65.6% last season to around 70% this year.

This progress has turned him into one of the main pillars of AEK and a guarantee for the Albanian National Team.
