The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, was part of the book fair. After his participation in this activity, he had selected some books. 

He showed that he had bought a complete edition of the Franciscan library of Anton Pater Harap, as well as several books by the writer Markez, whom he described as his most beloved author. 

Berisha had also bought some books for children, for the grandson and a series of books.

"I took some, I bought some, I bought without question. Here at the fair there were many who wanted to donate. At the fair, books are bought, gifts are not accepted at the fair. I bought a complete edition of the Franciscan library of Anton Pater Harap, I bought books of my beloved writer, Marquez, I bought books for children, for my nephew, and a series of books.
I got a book by a former friend of mine from my freshman years of college, Ana Cohen. Ana is actually a doctor, but who she is also a writer now, of Jewish origin from Vlora, but in New York she became one of the most ardent activists of the Albanian cause and a true advocate of the Albanians, and that's why I got her book to read what it has."- Berisha said. /CNA.al
