Analyst Baton Haxhiu, invited to the "Opinion" show with journalist Blendi Fevziu, said that this was a design by Prime Minister Edi Rama to remove Veliaj from the Socialist Party.

Haxhiu said that those who could disrupt the harmony in the SP today are one in exile, referring to former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj, and the other in prison, referring to Veliaj.

The analyst said that Edi Rama had the opportunity to save Veliaj from the illusion of becoming prime minister in 2019 when he ran him again for a second term as mayor.

Haxhiu said that Veliaj's re-nomination in 2019 was Rama's strategic mistake, as Veliaj has no power in the SP, only power through the oligarchs.

 

"Those who could disrupt the harmony of the Socialist Party, one is in exile and the other in prison. Rama has designed the right moment to remove Erion Veliaj from the Socialist Party."

Unlike Rama, who has power over individuals and the party, Veliaj had the power of the oligarchs and built the story as a leader, but had no discourse.

Veliaj did not understand politics and hoped that Rama would not run for a third term.

Rama and Veliaj's mistake is that he ran for a second term, Velija's was a political mistake, Rama's was a strategic one.
