The new deal is official, Pep: A new chapter is opening for the next decade

Pep Guardiola, coach of Manchester City until 2025. It was the English club itself that has formalized the extension of the Spanish technician's contract for another two years, with the current one ending in June 2023.

Guardiola's experience so far at Manchester City is considered quite successful. It has won 11 major trophies so far, including four of the last five Premier League titles.

In all competitions, he has won 271 of the 374 games he has managed, that is, he has had complete success in 72.4% of them. City have scored 921 goals during this period, with an average of 2.46 goals per game.

Guardiola, with 374 games in charge of the Cityzens, is second only to Les McDowall, who was on the City bench in 587 games (1950-1963).

"I am very pleased to stay at Manchester City for two more years. I thank everyone at the club for believing in me. I am happy and feel here. I have everything I need to do my job the best I can.
