Arabia Saudite ka shkaktuar befasinë e parë në Kampionat Botëror duke mposhtur Argjentinën me rezultat 1-2. Kujtojmë se për Arabinë Saudite golat e fitores i shënuan Saleh Al Shehri (48′) dhe Salem Al Dawsari (53′). Ndërsa, për ‘Albicelestes’ golin e vetëm e shënoi nga penalltia sulmuesi, Lionel Messi (10’).
