Teachers, educators and all those working in pre-university educational institutions in the country will be subject to psycho-social evaluation.

The Minister of Education Evis Kushi has signed the instruction which has been published in the official journal.

The evaluation will be carried out by a special commission that will be set up by order of the director of the local education office.

It will be temporary, it will consist of five members where in addition to the employee of the education directorate there will also be psychologists and social workers.

The psycho-social evaluation of the educational employees employed for the first time written in the document will be carried out at the end of the 3-month period.

Teachers and educators must pass the test within 15 days. Otherwise, the educational institution takes measures until their dismissal.

Employees have the right to appeal the decision within three days.

They will be subject to evaluation and in case a complaint has been filed against them in the relevant institution.

There are currently about 33,000 teachers in nine-year and high schools in the country. /ET-CNA.al
