During a meeting with the women beneficiaries of the new support program for mothers with many children in Korça, the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu, said that for the month of January alone, there are 5,210 mothers benefiting from the support program with health and social insurance for unemployed mothers with three or more children.

"Është një politikë universale që buroi nga Këshillimi Kombëtar për mbështetjen e nënave me shumë fëmijë. Përgjatë muajit janar ne kemi patur mbi 8 mijë nëna që kanë aplikuar nëpërmjet portalit e-albania. Vetëm për muajin janar janë 5210 nëna përfituese, 5210 nëna të cilat tashmë, në sajë edhe të një skeme shumë të shpejtë dhe efektive nga Shërbimi Social Shtetëror nga Drejtoria e Tatimeve dhe Instituti i Sigurimeve Shoqërore, tashmë të gjitha këto nëna, kanë në llogaritë e tyre në Institutin e Sigurimeve Shoqërore subvencionimin e paguar nga shteti të këtyre sigurimeve. Një politikë e cila sigurisht ka një kontribut financiar të qeverisë, vjetor, i cili është rreth 6 milion dollarë dhe që ne do ta vijojmë si një politikë të qëndrueshme",- theksoi Manastirliu.

Following the initiative of the National Consultation, the government approved the support program for unemployed mothers with three or more minor children, as a support package that guarantees equal social protection, social welfare, protection of the role of women and their empowerment within the family, valuing unpaid work, with the aim of the well-being of minor children from their birth to preschool age, as well as recognizing the contribution of unpaid work.
