Opened the Multipurpose Emergency at the Central Hospital/ Manastirliu: 100%

The Multipurpose Emergency is opened at the Central Hospital, completing the transfer of services to the new hospital at the "Mother Teresa" University Hospital Center, which is now fully functional with all services for the treatment of emergencies and internal diseases, according to contemporary standards.

"The entire Central Hospital now becomes functional, with the integration of the Multipurpose Emergency that we left at the last stage, the entry and start of its operation. Because we wanted all the other services, the fourteen services to be integrated first in this hospital. With the start of work in the multipurpose emergency service, which has already opened its doors and is waiting and treating patients, we have reached 100% of the capacity utilization of this hospital", said Minister Manastirliu during the inspection of the emergency service in the new hospital.

In a conversation with the doctors of the emergency service, Minister Manastirliu spoke about the reorganization of the service and the completion of the service provision cycle for citizens within a hospital structure, such as the ultramodern hospital that has opened its doors in the largest hospital center in the country.

"Now the rules and triages are followed according to the defined codes and here the convenience is maximum because there are defined boxes, we have all the devices added as in such capacities, so that monitoring and examinations are done in real time and of course then the patient's journey inside hospital structure, which will be followed by you as doctors, but also by the service doctors of the entire central hospital that we have in the same building and this is a great convenience", said Manastirliu.

Speaking about the treatment of cardiac emergencies, Manastirliu underlined that the Hemodynamic Service at QSUT at the Central Hospital and at the "Shefqet Ndroqi" Hospital in coordination with the National Emergency, will be treated the best.

"From the moment an acute myocardial infarction suspect leaves, the National Emergency is notified and you are also notified, the combination and organization with the National Emergency, with the Multivalent Emergency, the same as the Senate Emergency, which will now also open a 24-hour service for the days Monday and until lunch every day, I believe that this will improve the work in all aspects", Manastirliu underlined.

The transfer of services to the new hospital has been completed with the transfer of the Multipurpose Emergency Service, which will provide services with contemporary standards for patients. The Polyvalent Emergency at QSUT receives about 100,000 patients a year.

The ultra-modern Central Hospital will now offer health care with 14 specialized hospital medical services such as cardiology, nephrology, hematology, gastrohepatology, internal medicine, endocrinology, dermatology, rheumatology, allergology, emergency and imaging with a capacity of 345 beds. The Central Hospital put into operation for 100 patients and medical staff is the biggest infrastructural work in health in the last 30 years.
