Doctor Aurora Meta Dollenberg says the new virus circulating is a variant of COVID
"We, the B variant that now dominates in America, already have it in the European population, so those who get infected with these B subvariants of the coronavirus in Europe go through it like an ordinary flu and have neither cases of death nor complications after infection, " said Meta Dollenberg, in an interview for Euronews.
According to her, so far Europe is in a safe zone, despite the fact that infectivity is very high.
"So, they are transmitted quickly, but it is not life-threatening," Meta Dollenberg said further. /CNA.al
