The Secretary General of the Democratic Party, Flamur Noka, stopped by today at the opposition protest on Saturday afternoon in front of the Prime Minister's Office.
Invited to "Syri TV", Noka said that yesterday's protesters furiously flooded the boulevard against the ruling government that has stolen from and oppressed them.
According to the democrat, the opposition yesterday gave a clear message that the government must step down and pave the way for a political solution.
"Yesterday a human river flooded the Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard and the streets of Tirana. Yesterday an unprecedented human energy exploded in the form of a revolt against the narco-regime and the thieves of power. Yesterday the citizens of the country, the opponents of this country, showed that they refuse to accept and remain robbed, trampled and oppressed. Yesterday they vented a revolt. They showed that when the river starts and floods furiously and when it flows even slightly, it gives signs that it is emerging from its bed, it takes everything ahead.
So, this signal went to the drug lord in power yesterday. The citizens of his country feel robbed. The corruption cases that have erupted in the Llogara tunnel file, which involves the Rama-Balluku duo, cannot be accepted by the citizens to be swallowed anymore. Yesterday the citizens of this country flooded like a hurricane because they cannot accept that national security is and is left in the hands of Gys Agas and the drug cartels.
Yesterday they flooded for a European Albania and not for Albania, the only narco-state of Europe. I repeat, the human river, the human energy, flooded yesterday and only gave a signal that it is coming out of its bed. And we all know by now, when rivers come out of their bed, they take everything in their stride. That's why they gave a very clear message to the narco. That's why he reacted today furiously, nervously, on the verge of madness, which a head of a state or even a leader, at any level, can never react. So, panic has gripped them. Albanians have woken up and Albanians yesterday gave a clear message to leave, to pave the way for a political solution, because this volcanic lava that is erupting will burn. Clearly. And it will burn, it will burn more than anyone, it will burn those who get in the way of this and are trying to be a barricade of crime, cartels and corruption in power.
Edi Rama feels panic. Why? Because he knows very well that when the youth starts and moves, when the youth starts and carries the message of revolt, they are unstoppable. Their energy cannot be confronted by any police force or any kind of power, form of power. They know it very well. And Edi Rama knows this very well, because the two times that the youth has moved, he has left no stone unturned, he has left no effort unturned to stop them and to restrain them, because he knows that he cannot cope.
And the special thing about yesterday, about this revolt, was that the youth was at the forefront, the youth led it and the youth was its heart. This is a very clear message for Albanians that there is hope here and the sons and daughters of this country, the young men and women of this country, have finally decided to stand up for their country and no longer let this country roll on the rocks of Albanian crime and corruption. This is news for us and for every Albanian it is very joyful news. Of course, for the drug lords and the government robbers who are in a terrible panic, it is the worst news. The young people have woken up, they will not stop.
In a functional democracy, protests and demonstrations are monitored by law enforcement and are followed with calm. Why? Because in a democracy the right to protest, to express indignation, revolt, dissatisfaction, is completely normal, in fact it is, it is one of the most virtuous elements that democracies have within them. But, in narco-regimes the panic is very great when they see that river of people is turning, turning into lava, they see it like a volcanic lava that burns them and takes them away. Be sure of one thing, you saw it. The young people did not step down.
The panic that gripped the narcos in power caused them to exercise terror and violence. But no one stopped, no one stepped forward. Today, all day long, our lawyers and we have been in contact with each of the arrested. They are of steely morals. In every cell today where they were contacted, the cry 'Rama out, technical government' was heard. Which means that the youth are never held by violence. The free citizens of a country are never held by violence. Narco-regimes, and regimes in general, when they are in their last moments, they try to exercise the greatest violence and the greatest terror. But yesterday, it was clearly understood by everyone that they are in their last moments. What they are doing, raping and arresting young men, women, minors, ladies, it shows that they are feeling the end", - Noka expressed./CNA
