Protest/Këlliçi: Police turned off street lights to prevent violence against protesters from being filmed

DP MP Belind Këlliçi accused the State Police of turning off street lights during Saturday's protest to prevent violence against citizens from being filmed. Invited to "Opinion", Këlliçi said that this happened for the first time during the January 24 protest. 

"I'm telling you something else, it was necessary to turn off the street lights like never before, because you don't have the time. The State Police turned off the lights on George Bush Street, where the pedestrian crossing is, so that the violence that started from the Police forces, an animalistic violence, would not be understood and filmed anymore ," said Këlliçi.

The MP further added that the Democratic Party will continue the political and legal battle, including filing charges with the Special Prosecution Office. /CNA
