In a statement to the media, student Edona Osmanaj, 21 years old, said that she will join the July 7 protest.

Osmanaj also called on all students to protest even for those people who do not have the physical opportunity to be part of the protest.

" I am Edona Osmanaj, 21 years old, student.

I am here to call on my peers to join the July 7 protest.

I come from the experience of the student protest of 2018.

At that time, I protested about the bad conditions of my peers in the dormitory, even though I was not a boarder myself.

I protested for the students who did not receive the scholarship, even though I myself did not receive a scholarship. 

I protested then, and I will protest on July 7, because protests are not and cannot be something personal.

Protests are made for the majority, not for the minority that has things in order. 

Protests are not personal, and when the day comes for them to be so, the situation no longer holds.

A solo protest means being left alone.

This is why we must unite: not to leave anyone in danger to be left alone.

On July 7, let's stand up for those who don't even have the physical means to go to the protest," said Osmanaj./ CNA.al
