"No one imposes themselves on me by force"/ Rama clashes with farmer

During a meeting with farmers in Divjaka, Prime Minister Edi Rama debated with one of the farmers, who raised concerns about the import of foreign products.

As the prime minister finished his speech and was leaving for another important meeting, he addressed the farmer, saying that no one could force him to listen.

"No one imposes themselves on me by force. You hardly impose yourself on others to take the floor. We are here and there is a queue. You are overdoing it. When it is your turn, you will speak. I cannot sit still, not because I want to leave, not because I want to listen to you. What you said is impossible and absurd. In an open economy, closing product borders because you want to does not exist. Before you take on the responsibility of accusing, try to understand what they have told you. We have shared this work since we came out in '90 and we said 'Freedom and democracy'. That's what I say. Don't mention oil to me at all because the minister told you how much we make available to compensate producers for oil. And here, those who receive oil as producers, do not use it for production. Learn from the best who are here. What do you have to do with politics? I like it a lot", declared Rama./ CNA
