The Parliamentary Committee on Economy is discussing today the decree of President Ilir Meta, regarding the marking of the Butrint park with a concession.

The legal representative of President Ilir Meta, Bledar Dervishaj, has presented the reasons for the return to the Parliament of the law in question.

Dervishaj said that from the examination of the parliamentary practice, the president noticed that the process of public consultation was missing and flaws were found during the debate.

He stated that the Parliament did not exercise control over the government but accepted its decisions, adding that the law violates the resolution of the European Parliament.
