The member of the DP Presidency Arben Ristani emphasized that the opposition is not a seal or a building, but the real opposition is the one with the people in the square.

He also said that Sri Lanka is a clear example of how autocrats treat their people, adding that the point is not to have an undirected revolt and that the role of the opposition is to build a good perspective for the country.

“Sri Lanka shembulli se si autokratët sillen me popullin e tyre. Njerëzit sado të paqtë që të jenë vjen një pikë ku nuk durohet më kjo gjendje…Çështja është që të mos kemi një revoltë të padrejtuar dhe ky është roli i opozitës dhe për të ndërtuar një perspektive të mirë për vendin. Goditja që iu dha opozitës ishte në planin e Ramës dhe këtë e realizoi përkohësisht duke kapur opozitën dhe duke futur nën sqetull ish-drejtuesin e saj dhe tashmë ne i rezistuam kësaj goditjeje dhe shpirti demokrat arriti ta kalojë por edhe kjo ka lënë gjurmët e veta. PD në vetvete ka qenë gjithmonë e bashkuar. Protesta do të jetë një nga format e veprimtarisë së opzitës. Ne do të presim dhe të shohim se si do të bëhemi gati edhe për zgjedhjet që kemi përpara”, tha ai.
