DP MP Ina Zhupa has denounced the governing majority for seeking to illegally pass the concession of Butrint.

Zhupa declares on her Facebook page that the decree of the presidency was entered into the work calendar without being foreseen for these three weeks.

Full reaction:

"As usual, they continue with illegality and violations when dealing with the Butrint concession. In the work calendar from July 11 to 29 that we received in emails as a deputy, there was no provision for these 3 weeks to review the president's decree.

By order from above, the deputies of the economy committee announced that the meeting will take place tomorrow, July 12.

With the same philosophy, I wouldn't be surprised if they put it in the plenary session on Thursday in order to pass the concession as soon as possible.

The speed shows that they did not take into account any of the constitutional and legal violations that the president's decree presents.

Illegality, the danger to the national identity, alienation from history, are the main pillars on which this concession is maintained", says Zhupa. /CNA.al
