The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, spoke about his visit to Strasbourg at the conference held today.

Berisha said that in the meetings he held, the echo of the opposition's protest was strong.

The chief democrat stated that internationals are eagerly awaiting the opposition's second protest.

A protest about which Berisha said that citizens will speak out very soon and the opposition will inform about what he called the most powerful protest that Albania has known.

 

 

" Of course, in addition to the meetings, in groups, in addition to the speeches, interventions, discussions, we also had important meetings with the heads of the committees, with leading personalities of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. Meetings in which we found complete understanding. The echo of the protest was strong. A second protest was expected from our friends, but with as much insistence as is expected from all Albanian oppositionists. And I am here to condemn with the greatest force the act of Edi Rama, the coup d'état act, with which he blocked, with which he, in order to protect himself, blocked the parliament and did not allow the examination of the file. The citizens will speak very soon and we will inform about the strongest protest that Tirana and Albania have known in the coming days.

The opposition is on its feet, it is determined to face tooth and nail this shameful regime. This criminal regime. This kleptocratic regime. This narco-regime.

"So I invite the opposition and the oppositionists to continue this battle until our victory. The only hope is the opposition and it will not disappoint ," said Berisha./CNA
