The chairperson of the LSI, Monika Kryemadhi, has been justified for the incinerator affair, in which the former minister of the LSI, Lefter Koka, was involved.

Journalist Klodiana Lala asked Kryemadhi this evening if she feels complicit and why she did not speak earlier about this affair.

The head of the LSI initially tried to avoid the question, while later she threw the responsibility on Lefter Koka. She said in the show "Open" that because of Koka, LSI is in this situation.

“Unë të falënderoj shumë. Sa i përket çështjes së inceneratorëve ka filluar që në 2014. Është iniciativë e ministrit Lefter Koka që atëherë përfaqësonte LSI-në, në bashkëpunim me kryeministrin Edi Rama, që atëherë kemi qenë në koalicon dhe kjo është arsyeja pse LSI është këtu ku është. Në rekursin e Gjykatës së Lartë që lëshoi për çështjen e Lefter Kokës, nuk u akuzua LSI apo Monika Kryemadhi për vendimin e paligjshëm, por qeverinë shqiptare dhe disa ministra. Vetëm emrin nuk ia përmendi Engjëll Agaçit që e futi në vendim qeverie dhe e firmosi.
