"Jews talk, but Balkans talk longer"/ Rama, joke in the Israeli

During his speech in the Israeli parliament, Prime Minister Edi Rama made jokes about the length of speeches by Jews and Balkans.

Rama also spoke about peace, saying, among other things, that Albania is blessed to have friendly countries like Turkey, Israel, and Arab countries.

"I wish that the Abrahamic peace continues. Looking ahead to a brighter future like the UAE or a few others have. Peace is not only possible but can raise peace-loving peoples and nations. Albania could not be more blessed to have Israel and Arab countries as friends, including Turkey.

Mr. President, you know that Jews speak, but you did not know that Balkans speak longer. As I opened with the words of an Arab martyr for peace, I close with the words of a rabbi. Speaking of Israel and the Palestinians from the bottom of our hearts, we call on citizens and Palestinians to put an end to acts of hostility, to preserve human dignity.

"We are entering a new path that will pave the way for an era of peace for the future, may their memory be a blessing, may the state of Israel flourish in eternity and the Palestinian people in dignity, and may the two be together in the future ," Rama said. /CNA
