The Minister of State for Relations with the Parliament, Elisa Spiropali, expressed optimism about the opening of negotiations by the EU on Thursday.
In an interview for the show Debate on A2CNN, Spiropali said that Albania has met all the conditions, but according to her, until now it has been "burnt" because of the Bulgarian veto against North Macedonia.
"All possibilities are. But the time is not today, the time was yesterday, the time was also before for the first intergovernmental conference with Albania and Macedonia next year. It seems that there is a compromise and a political solution proposed by France for North Macedonia and for Bulgaria. We were seriously considering the application for separation from North Macedonia, but we expect a solution to this issue as soon as possible. We are ready. Albania has completed all its tasks and we welcome it on Thursday", said Spiropali./ CNA.al
