Zvërnec issue/ Rama to EU journalists: Challenge me with facts, not what

Prime Minister Edi Rama, in a conference with European Union journalists, addressed them to challenge him with facts regarding the Zvërnec case and not with what they have heard on the street.

Further, in his communication with journalists, Rama said that what is wrong in the case of Zvërnec is the presumption that a country has to choose between nature and development.

The Prime Minister stated that Albania needs to find ways for nature and development to coexist and not be in conflict with each other.

 

" Do you have facts? Challenge me with facts, not something you heard on the street."

"What is wrong is the assumption that a country has to choose between development and nature. This is ideology, it is not what the best practices in this world tell us. The country needs to find ways for nature and development to coexist, not go against each other ," Rama said.
