"They must be adapted to the EC directives"/ Review of 4 draft laws

The review of four draft laws set out on the agenda in the Assembly is postponed. 

The request was made today by the head of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla. 

In his speech during the plenary session, Balla stated that this additional time is necessary as these draft laws must be harmonized word for word with the EC directives.

"It may seem like we have made some kind of agreement, but also in function of what my colleague said, based on the rules of procedure, I would request a postponement for 1 week of the review of the 4 draft laws on the agenda. These are draft laws that need to be reconciled word for word for the EC and I propose to the session that the draft laws:

-Draft law “On some additions and amendments to law no. 8874, dated 29.3.2002, “On the control of substances used for the illegal manufacture of narcotic and psychotropic substances”;

-Draft law "On some additions to law no. 7975, dated 26.7.1995, "On narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances", as amended;

-Draft law "On the prevention of conflict of interest in the exercise of public functions";

-Draft law "On some additions and amendments to law 10221, dated 04.02.2010 "On protection against discrimination";

"We have brought two requests for an addition to the composition of the permanent committees and the determination of substitute members," Balla said. /CNA
