Democratic MP Tritan Shehu has reacted through a post on social networks, regarding the approval of the French proposal by the Macedonian Assembly for the opening of negotiations with the European Union.

Shehu writes that the "success" for the possibility of opening negotiations for our country, does not come as a result of the realization of the standards set for Albania, but from a decision outside of us, which has to do with the relations between the Republic of Moldova and Bulgaria.

Precisely because our integration was based on MV-Bulgari relations!

Sot per te disaten here prej 2014-tes, Rama feston „Celjen e negociatave“!

Paradoksale dhe e turpshme kjo!

Nje tregues i qarte ky i deshtimeve ne vazhdim i kesaj maxhorance.

Por dhe kesaj radhe “suksesi” vjen nga nje vendim shume i rendesishem e pozitiv i parlamentit te MV, e jo i Kuvendit te Shqiperise, jo nga realizimi i standarteve te kerkuara nga ne.

Dhe kjo mbasi humbem vite te tera me mos relizimin e tyre per kete hap, me shtimin nga 3 ne 5 ne 7…15 e me shume.

Dhe mbasi Rama pikerisht per te fshehur keto deshtime te renda jo vetem qe hapi disa shishe shampanje e leshoi shume fishekzjarre ne Tirane…

…por dhe ne menyren me cinike lidhi fatin e Shqiperise me ate te MV, me shprese se fundmi te nje vendimi “politik” per celjen e negociatave.

Dhe pastaj per vite te tera vetem ankohej e akuzonte BE e vendet antare per “mungese vullneti” ndaj nesh!

A truly primitive irresponsibility and demagoguery, which cost us 8-9 lost years in the integration process.

I sincerely hope that we can now take this step, even if it is a formal one, towards the EU.
But I can't help asking a question:

If we continue like this, with this failed government, how many years will it take us to become full members of our European family.

Without a doubt, decades at best...

Or a tragic end awaits us, not just in years, but also in destination... because this Prime Minister has his "face" turned to the East and not to the West.

But fortunately, the Albanians have their "face" only from the East and Europe...

...Therefore this Government is heading towards its end, because it is in opposition to our aspirations.
