"Join the protest, with the voice of Albanians from all over the country, for a better Tirana and Albania".

This is the call of the deputy of the PD and at the same time the head of the FRPD, Belind Kelliçi, to the citizens of Tirana to participate in the national protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office.

Full statement:

As a descendant of an autochthonous family from Tirana, and as a boy born and raised in this city, I have a call for my fellow citizens, on behalf of myself and the Democratic Party.

Bashkohuni me protestën, me zërin e shqiptarëve nga të katër anët e vendit, për një Tiranë dhe Shqipëri më të mirë.

Tirana gjithmonë ka ditur të bëjë zgjedhjene saj, dhe u ka dhënë zgjidhje ngjarjeve në historinë e vendit.

Kujtoni dhjetorin 1990, kur punëtorët dhe inteligjencia e kryeqytetit u bënë bashkë me studentët e rretheve dhe rininë e bordurave.

Historia e thërret sërish Tiranën të jetë në krye të punëve të Shqipërisë.

Toleranca e saj nuk mund të merret për dobësi, qytetaria nuk duheë nënvlerësuar.

Tiransit duhet të dalin sot për inceneratorin që ka djegur miliona, por nuk nxjerr fije tymi.

Për koshat me ngjyra ambjentaliste, që nuk e kanë zgjidhur problemin e mbeturinave dhe metodat e vjetra të korrupsionit bashkiak.

Për trafikun që zgjatet çdo ditë dhe shkurton orët që do donit të kalonit me familjen.

I am not only appealing to indigenous tyrants, but also to young people. To those who have come to the capital for a better, fairer, better life.

We share this whole city together, we are shareholders in it and not pawns at the doors of five oligarchs, and together we must stand up against its destruction.
