The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, today in an appearance for the media, has given strong warnings regarding the protest that will be held tomorrow.

Berisha warned that the situation is extremely heated and that nothing can defeat them.

He also sent a message to the police officers, asking them not to intimidate the citizens, as otherwise they will face legal consequences.

On the other hand, Berisha sent an invitation to Prime Minister Edi Rama to resign an hour ago.

“Thirrja ime për çdo qytetar është të bashkohet nesër në protestën e 7 Korrikut për të kërkuar dorëheqjen dhe largimin e Edi Ramës dhe qeverisë së tij nga pushteti.

Situata është jashtëzakonisht e ndezur, pakënaqësia dhe urrejtja për këtë qeveri ka rrokur qiellin.

Pandjeshmëria e saj është gjithashtu po kaq e madhe.

Të mos harrojmë se një kauzë të drejtë asgjë nuk mund ta mposhtë.

Ndaj dhe shfrytëzoj këtë rast për të ftuar çdo qytetarë dhe çdo qytetare të këtij vendi të kontribuojë me praninë e tij në suksesin e protestës.

Paralajmëroj të gjithë llojet e policive se çdo presion, çdo qëndrim çdo përpjekje për t’I intimiduar, dhunuar dhe penguar popullin shqiptar do të regjistrohet e do të marrë ndëshkim personal të merituar ligjor.

Paralajmëroj të mos provokojnë protestuesit.
