The police have discovered in Shkodër a greenhouse adapted for the cultivation in cubes of 220 suspected narcotic cannabis seedlings.

The greenhouse was discovered during the anti-cannabis police operation codenamed "Preventive Measures". As part of it, a citizen with the initials SC, 58 years old, resident in the village of Ura e Shstrenjte, Shkodër, was arrested in the act.

During the checks supported by the information intelligence, in the place called "Prroni i Zi", in the village of Ura e Shstrenjte, in the private property of the 58-year-old, the Police services discovered a small greenhouse, adapted for cube cultivation, all 220 suspected narcotic cannabis plants.

Some of the seedlings were seized as material evidence, while the rest were destroyed by burning.

Controls are currently continuing throughout the territory of Shkodër district, with the aim of preventing and cracking down on attempts to cultivate narcotic plants.

Meanwhile, the procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Shkodër Judicial District Court, for further actions./ CNA.al
