Edmond Pope's murder / Klodiana Lala reveals how Albano Velo was 'caught red-handed': He caught the 'objective' since November

Journalist Klodiana Lala has released new details about the arrest of Albano Velo, arrested for the murder of Edmond Papa.

During a statement in the "Opinion" column, Lala stated that the son of the policeman Dilaver Velo was identified by the footage. According to the journalist, Velo has guarded Edmond Pope since November.

She says that the event was a sign of revenge for the murder of Aleksandër Sadikaj.

“Ishte një punë e mirë e policisë së Tiranës, pasi nuk kishim hetim të tillë. Ku ende pa u mbushur dy javë, patëm reagim. E kam thënë dhe në muajin qershor, kur ndërtova dinamikën e vrasjes së Sadikajt, pasi më rezultonte se ai dhe Papa kishin pasur lidhje shoqërore me njëri-tjetrin. Në momentin kur u ekzekutua Papa, kam bërë dhe lidhjen kriminale mes tyre. Albano Velo është autori i dyshuar, ndërsa Dilaver Velo babai i tij është pezulluar si polic. Velo dyshohet se ka bashkëpunuar me Sadikajn. Në muajin nëntor Velo ka filluar të thurë planin për ekzekutimin e Papës. Velo shfaqet ditë pas dite me automjetin e tij në lagje. A e ka survejuar viktimën që nga muaji nëntor. Ndërsa ngjarja është kundërpërgjigje për vrasjen e Sadikajt. Ai shfaqet me automjetin e tij pak para ngjarjes dhe me ekzekutuesin e tij. Pasi është urdhëruesi dhe jo ekzekutoi, pasi 40-vjeçari e ka vrarë Papën. Ai ka treguar dhe një detaj se ekzekutori pasi e qëlloi me 9 plumba. U kap mat nga pamjet filmike, por dhe nga disa gjurmë të tjera.”, tha Lala./CNA.al
