Durrës police have arrested one person and placed four others under investigation, related to the organization of gambling.

EK, 32 years old, was arrested, who was the owner of the gambling establishment and also processed narcotics.

While the four defendants were caught red-handed placing sports bets.

The officers seized 5 cell phones and a quantity of the narcotic Cannabis Sativa.

Durrës/A bar has been discovered in neighborhood no. 13 Plazh, used for the illegal organization of gambling.

The owner of the bar, who was also in possession of narcotics, was arrested.

Four citizens who were caught red-handed, in a bar, placing sports bets with mobile phones, are under investigation.

5 cell phones and a quantity of the narcotic substance Cannabis Sativa were seized.

As a result of the control carried out based on information obtained in the operational route, that in a bar in the neighborhood no. 13 Plazh, sports bets were being placed, with mobile phones, the services of the Plazh Police Station, in cooperation with the services of the Durrës Police Commissariat:

-arrested in flagrante delicto citizen EK, 32 years old, resident of Durrës;

-referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where proceedings were initiated in the absence of citizens GK, HK, FP and AB, all residents of Durrës.

At the 32-year-old's bar, the 4 defendants were caught placing sports bets on mobile phones.

Further, during the physical search conducted on the owner of the subject, a quantity of the narcotic substance Cannabis Sativa was found.

The procedural materials were referred to the Durrës Prosecutor's Office for further action.
