The Regional Hospital of Shkodra has reacted to the fire that broke out this morning in its premises.

The hospital announces that the fire started in the room of a patient in the Pneumology Service.

The patients were evacuated in time and fortunately there were no injuries. Shkodra Hospital informs that the service continues without interruption and measures are being taken to repair the damage.

"The Shkodër Regional Hospital informs that at 6:45 this morning, an incident occurred, where a fire broke out in one of the patients' rooms in the Pneumology Service. The patients were evacuated in time and there were no injuries. The fire was extinguished immediately, preventing it from spreading to other rooms. The Regional Hospital of Shkodra ensures that the service continues without interruption, while immediate measures are being taken to repair the environment where the incident occurred," the statement said./ CNA.al
