He tried to help the minor to cross the border/ 37-year-old man

He tried to help a minor citizen, against payment, to illegally cross the green border with North Macedonia, the 37-year-old was put in handcuffs. 

The services of the Qafë Thane Border Police Station, in cooperation with the Crime Investigation Specialists of the Pogradec Police Station, took the initiative to arrest the citizen JK, 37 years old, a resident of Pogradec.

This citizen was caught as a result of checks carried out by the Border Police services, at the green border, trying to cross illegally, towards the territory of North Macedonia, a 15-year-old girl, against payment. 

As material evidence, a quantity of euros, a mobile phone and a vehicle owned by citizen JK, with which it is suspected that he would transport the minor, were seized. 

The work continues to identify and bring to the fore the legal responsibility of other citizens, suspected to be implicated in this case. 

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Korçë General Jurisdiction, for further action.
