Spartak Koka: Who is harming the investigations into the disappearance of the
Journalist Spartak Koka

Journalist Spartak Koka said in "Now with Erla Mëhillin" that the disappearance of Leonard Theodhor known as "Koçole" and Fatmir Sulovari alias Fatmir Krasniqi should have been recorded by the security cameras located in the city of Saranda.

According to him, the lack of transparency that is being done to the family members is unfair and the investigations into the disappearance of the "two strong men" of Saranda are being hindered.

"The cameras in the Municipality of Saranda did not work during that entire period because the Internet was not paid for by the Municipality. Although Saranda is monitored and if you look at it with your eyes there are many cameras installed, then paradoxically it turns out that the cameras which the taxpayers pay for, did not record. What are these cameras for? The cameras are placed at the intersection of the road from Ksamil to the road that leads to the area of ???uka, where 200 meters away the car is left parked in an irregular manner. So who has these cameras? They are cameras of a very high resolution and are located on the same pole that have a full 360-degree view. Who administers these cameras? Who has them? Having a kind of lack of transparency, not with us [journalists], but with family members, I believe it is too much," said Koka.

Leonard Theodhori, 46 years old, known as "Koçole", convicted several times, was suspected of being a participant in the 1997 Neck-Six Massacre where police officer Gjergj Mehmeti was killed. In 2003, he was present in the vehicle driven by Andrea Gjini before the latter killed businessman Jaho Bajo. Arrested that same year for "not reporting a crime" related to another incident committed by Gjini. Arrested later for "theft" and "fraud". Drug user and suspected of being involved in drug trafficking.

Fatmir Sulovari alias Fatmir Krasniqi, 46 years old, previously convicted for "carrying weapons without a permit" and "intentionally causing minor injury". Arrested in April 2022 in Lushnje, after a quantity of cannabis sativa divided into doses ready for sale was found in his "BMW" X5 vehicle./ Euronews Albania
