Unethical behavior towards citizens/ Inspector arrested, patrol officer prosecuted

The Police Supervision Agency (Vlora - Gjirokastra Region) has arrested in flagrante delicto the police officer Inspector HI, acting as General Patrol Officer at the Vlora Police Station, suspected of committing the criminal offense of "Irregular Driving" provided for in Article 291 of the Criminal Code.

His arrest was carried out after a citizen called the operations room yesterday evening, claiming that two police officers had stopped him in the Uji i Ftohtë area, presenting him with unethical behavior.

After verification with the alcohol test, the HI employee tested positive at 0.82 mg/l.

The disciplinary investigation process will continue against police officer EA, with the duty of General Patrol Officer at the Vlora Police Commissariat. To be continued...
