A 52-year-old Albanian man was arrested by the operational police team in Prato, Italy, after taking advantage of his daily release from prison for drug trafficking.

15 kilograms of hashish were seized from the operation, in collaboration with a 22-year-old Romanian.

According to a statement from the prosecutor's office, two citizens were found with 15 kilograms of hashish inside a property on Via dei Gerani, in the Villaggio Gescal area of ??San Giusto.

In particular, 18 blocks of hashish were found inside two shoe boxes stored in the closet, 20 blocks of hashish with the image of the footballer Ronaldo and other packages in the bedroom, as well as a piece of hashish placed in a vase in the kitchen.

According to the prosecutor, the 52-year-old, under precautionary measures for conspiracy to traffic drugs, taking advantage of the bonus regime that had been given to him during the day, appears to have resumed drug trafficking activity and, following him, the team then caught the two arrested two days ago in the house where the drugs were hidden. /CNA
