The Cybercrime Investigation Directorate of the State Police informs citizens that recently, fake messages and links have been circulating, imitating the official website of the Albanian Post and requesting users' personal and banking details.

Through a notice from the State Police, it is emphasized that this is a cyber fraud attempt (phishing), which aims to obtain unauthorized personal data, bank card numbers or access codes to online accounts.

"The Cybercrime Investigation Directorate appeals for increased caution:

• Do not click on suspicious links sent via email, SMS or social networks;

• Never provide personal information, card numbers, PINs or passwords on sites that are not official;

• Always check the correct website address before performing any online action;

• In case of doubt, report immediately to the State Police or the Cybercrime Investigation Directorate," the announcement says./ CNA
