Gunshot wound in Durres/ A person presents to the emergency room

A gunshot wound occurred this afternoon in Durrës.

According to preliminary police information, the 31-year-old man with the initials MD, presented himself at the Durrës hospital with a leg injury, shot with a firearm, under still unclear circumstances.

It is reported that an investigative group has been set up to fully investigate the incident.

On 03.11.2025, at around 16:20, citizen MD, 31 years old, resident of Durrës, went to the emergency room of Durrës Hospital for medical assistance, out of danger to his life, who is suspected of having been injured in the foot (in the heel area), with a firearm, under still unclear circumstances.

An investigative group has been established and, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, work is underway to fully clarify the circumstances of the case. /CNA
