A 30-year-old man has been arrested by police after a firearm, a pistol, and ammunition were found in the vehicle he was driving.

Citizen PV's weapon, ammunition and vehicle were seized.

"The police operation coded "Akulli" is finalized, to crack down on a case of illegal possession of weapons.
He was circulating in a vehicle, armed, in the city of Kukës, a 30-year-old man was caught and handcuffed.
1 firearm, pistol, combat ammunition and the vehicle were seized.
The services of the DVP Kukës, in cooperation with the services of the Kukës Police Commissariat and with the support of the services of the Special Force "Shqiponja", based on information obtained in the operational route that a citizen was circulating with a firearm, organized and finalized the police operation coded "Akulli". As a result of this operation, the citizen was arrested in flagrante delicto:
-?PV, 30 years old, resident of Kukës.
This citizen was caught in flagrante delicto by the Police services, in neighborhood no. 3, in the city of Kukës, driving a "Touareg" type vehicle, in which 1 firearm, pistol and combat ammunition were found.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action."
