The housekeeper and her son steal the owner's house/ Large sums of money are seized

A 49-year-old woman and her son have been detained by the police after being accused of stealing from the house she was maintaining. 

The RD citizen, 49 years old, maintained an apartment on Kosovar street, and in cooperation with her son HD, 23 years old, are accused of having stolen significant sums of money and valuables which reach a total value of about 120 thousand euros.

During the inspection of the apartment of the arrested citizens, the police services found and seized as material evidence, 58,150 euros, 7,000 dollars, 368,000 new lek, valuables (gold accessories), 3 vehicles, 2 of them purchased from the stolen money, as well as clothing used during the performance of this activity.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Tirana Judicial District Court, for further actions./ CNA.al
