A 33-year-old man was caught and arrested red-handed in the city of Lushnja, after he was carrying a firearm and 11 rounds of ammunition.

The arrest was made at the conclusion of a police operation codenamed "Operation 72".

Citizen E. Ç. was arrested for the criminal offense of "Unlicensed production and possession of weapons and ammunition".

As a result of information provided about a citizen who was moving armed in Lushnja, the services of the Special Operational Force Directorate of the General Directorate of the State Police, within the framework of the operation "Operational 72", located and arrested in the "Loni Dhamo" neighborhood the citizen E. Ç., who was carrying an automatic pistol firearm, which was seized as material evidence, along with a magazine with 11 cartridges.

At the conclusion of the procedural actions, the Crime Investigation specialists of the Lushnja Police Commissariat arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen E. Ç., 33 years old, resident of Lushnja, for the criminal offense of "Unlicensed production and possession of weapons and ammunition".
