"Lajthit" 46-year-old man in Durrës/ Threatens police officer

A 46-year-old man has been arrested in Durrës after threatening a police officer with a firearm. The citizen L.Sh. was arrested. The incident took place in Katund Sukth, where he threatened the officer with a pistol as soon as he saw him on duty.

The police have seized the pistol-type sporting weapon and the vehicle that this citizen was driving while intoxicated. Further verifications revealed that the 46-year-old was driving the vehicle in which he was carrying the weapon while intoxicated.

A 46-year-old man was arrested after threatening a local police specialist with a weapon.

The sporting weapon (pistol) and the vehicle that this citizen was driving while intoxicated were seized.

After a specialist from the Community Policing Section of the Durres Police Station reported that someone had been threatened with a weapon in the village of Katund Sukth, the General Patrol services of the Durres Police Station, assigned to monitor this area, immediately went to the scene, where they enabled the arrest of the perpetrator, citizen L. Sh., 46 years old, resident of the village of Katund Sukth.

From the investigations so far, it is suspected that the 46-year-old got out of the vehicle as soon as he saw the area's SPZ officer on duty, and threatened him with the sporting weapon he was carrying without a permit.

Further verifications revealed that citizen L. Sh. was driving the vehicle in which he was carrying the weapon, while intoxicated.

The procedural materials were referred to the Durrës Prosecutor's Office for further action. / CNA
