The Supreme Court returns for review Shullazi's complaint about the 41 bis

The Supreme Court has returned for examination the complaint of Emiljano Shullazi about the regime 41 bis.

Shullazi appealed to the Appeal, but his request was rejected. The Supreme Court argues that there are irregularities in the decision of the Appeal, so the case should be examined by another body.

Through the defense, Shullazi complained about human rights violations after the isolation in the 41 bis regime.

On January 12, the Special Court Against Corruption and Organized Crime upheld the decision to confine Emiljano Shullazi in cells with deep surveillance, also known as "41 Bis".

Shullazi was arrested in November 2015 together with his cousin Blerim Shullazi, Gilmando Dani, Endrit Qyqje and Endrit Zela.

Three years later, the Court of First Instance of Serious Crimes sentenced them to 55 years in prison, fourteen years only for Shullazi./euronews
