Five people have been arrested in flagrante delicto by Shkodra police after they were caught during the night in the village of Rragam while carrying out illegal hunting.

According to information, at the time of the arrest, 2 firearms (1 pistol, 1 rifle), 2 shotguns, combat ammunition, 1 drone and 1 killed bird were found in the vehicle of the arrested persons.

Meanwhile, during searches in the apartment of one of the arrested, citizen EM, 36 years old, a quantity of cannabis was also found and seized as material evidence.

Shkodër/Controls are being carried out in implementation of the plan of measures to prevent and combat cases of illegal hunting.

The operation codenamed "Hunters" is finalized.

Five citizens who were caught red-handed during the night, in the village of Rragam, hunting in violation of the hunting moratorium, have been arrested.

At the time of the stop by the Police, these citizens were found in possession of 2 firearms (1 pistol, 1 rifle), 2 shotguns, combat ammunition, 1 drone and 1 killed bird.

During a search of the apartment of one of the arrested, a quantity of Cannabis was found.

The services of the Shkodra Police Commissariat, based on the plan of measures drafted by the Shkodra Local Police Directorate, to prevent and crack down on cases of illegal hunting, have carried out checks in various areas of the Shkodra district.

During the checks, in the village of Rragam, the Police services have found 5 citizens who were carrying out illegal hunting. During the check in the vehicle in which these citizens were traveling, the following were found: 1 pistol firearm, 1 rifle firearm, 1 single-shotgun, 1 shotgun, combat ammunition, 1 drone and 1 killed bird, which were seized as material evidence.

During the search of citizen EM's apartment, the Police services found a quantity of suspected narcotic substance Cannabis Satia, which was also seized as material evidence.

At the conclusion of the actions in this case, the Crime Investigation specialists of the Shkodra Police Commissariat arrested the following citizens:

EF, 30 years old, EM, 36 years old, KD, 36 years old, VN, 29 years old and SS, 23 years old, all residents of Shkodra.
