3 grass houses found in Malësia e Madhe/ 4 OSHEE employees suspended

The State Police have discovered in Malësia e Madhe, 3 environments adapted for cultivating plants with bulbs as well as 1,110 suspected narcotic cannabis plants.

As part of this operation, two people and 4 OSHEE employees were arrested, while two other employees were criminally prosecuted.

Officers have seized suspected narcotic cannabis plants, 1 kg and 800 grams of this substance in the form of bottles, lamps, extractor hoods, fans, neon panels, air filters and inverters.

The police operation codenamed "Neons" is finalized.

3 environments adapted for the cultivation and drying of narcotic cannabis plants using lamps are discovered.

Two citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto, and a 33-year-old man was declared wanted.

4 OSHEE employees are also suspended and 2 other employees are being prosecuted for the criminal offense of "Abuse of office".

1,110 suspected cannabis plants, 1 kg and 800 grams of this substance in the form of a bottle, 300 lamps, 22 extractor hoods, 35 blowers, 11 neon panels, 22 air filters and 217 inverters were seized.

Following the plan of measures to crack down on the cultivation of narcotic plants in closed environments, based also on information obtained in operational ways, the services of the Malësi e Madhe Police Commissariat, in cooperation with the services of the Shkodër DVP Police and the Shkodër Public Security Unit, have exercised intensive controls in closed environments, with the aim of ascertaining and cracking down on cases of cultivation of narcotic plants using lamps, drying and processing them for sale.

In this context, the police operation codenamed "Neons" was organized and finalized.
