A serious incident happened this Monday evening in the village of Breg Shkozë in Vorë.

It is known that the citizen with the initials QB, after a fight for weak motives, shot his wife with the initials VB, 69 years old, with an ax behind her head.

Fortunately, the woman is out of danger and was transported to the Trauma Hospital for medical assistance.

According to preliminary information, the 72-year-old is suspected of having mental health problems.

The police immediately started the investigation regarding this serious event.

"On 01.05.2023, in Vorë, citizen QB, 70 years old, it is suspected that for weak motives, he hit his wife, citizen VB, 68 years old, with a cutting tool (axe).

As a result, the 68-year-old woman was injured and is in the hospital, out of danger for her life.

The suspected author was escorted to the police station for further action.
